ABOUT US:
Ed Parr >("Nitrous")> ("Fast "Eddie")
Has owned the '73' NOVA (#3309) for more than 19 years. The original motor was a 350/350 combo which ran a (first ever) 15.11 sec. 1/4 mile pass @ Pomona in 1997. Since then, that engine has been replaced by a 383 stroker motor, that is making OVER 500 hp on the street with 91 octane! The best time out at Fontana Dragway it went an 11.00 on a 200 shot of NOS with a 1.55 sixty foot time. Not too bad considering there IS NOT (yet) a transbrake on the car and that the launch suspension is in search of professional tune! That was run on March 28, 2009. We're trying to get into the tens soon, so look for him in the SUMMIT Series, PSCA, and at the street legal drags. THIS Nova is on pump gas! It had been DRIVEN to and from Anaheim to Fontana/Pomona for most of its entire racing history. This car is COMPLETELY street legal AND street DRIVEN and makes occasional commutes to work from its new home in SOUTH CORONA!! It has been seen in "CAR CRAFT", "POPULAR HOT RODDING", and "CHEVY HIGH PERFORMANCE" magazines, as well as having made some air time on "MODERN MARVELS" on the "History channel" (which a link to view the footage is available on our "hot links" page), and has had moments of air time on "PINKS! ALL OUT"!! (Once is Vegas of '07', then again at Bakersfield in '09'). It has ran in numerous years of SUPER CHEVY SHOW, in which most of those years he has taken the Nova to the "MONEY" rounds! Keep your eyes open, and you may see it on the freeways on Fridays, or the weekends!!!!! With 3.73 rear gears it is still "streetable", although the educated ears can detect the 3500 stall converter when it pulls away from a stoplight. It has a FULL SPOOL in the rear end, as well as "Strange" "C-Clip" eliminators.

Sue >(Suzy "Q")
Wife to Fast Eddie and step mom to G-man, She is and exemplary addition to this team! Although not a driver, (yet) she is VERY enthusiastic about #3309. She has been seen getting her hands dirty working with Eddie on the car, and even getting UNDER it! Most recently she was caught on film pulling 70 lbs. on the torque wrench after INSTALLING the heads on #3309!!! We believe Sue is more passionate about #3309 than Shirley Muldowney was about her "rail"!! She is incredibly supportive in all ways and a true team player! Her moral support is highly valued and appreciated!

Veral >(Jim)-
The Guy with ALL the TOOLS! Great Company/friend to all and can Bench Race with the best of 'em! He's been the owner of BIG ORANGE (#V272) since approx. 1985. This '72', 5000lb, 3/4 ton truck has "beat-up" on Corvette ZO6's at Irwindale's 1/8 mile track WITHOUT NITROUS!!! It has run in the 12.80's at Fontana, and has gone a 7.75 at Irwindale. ORANGE now totes an oversized 454 big block under the hood that spits out OVER 600 hp on PUMP GAS! He has recently discovered the joys of a Nitrous kit, but has yet to make a full run "on the bottle" at the quarter mile. He also has an 1985 El Camino with a (warmed up) TPI 383 that dyno'd at the flywheel with slightly over 400hp but has yet to make a pass on the track, but is estimated to run low 13's to high 12's. Look for it to debut in the future once it gets a line loc, and a good shifter. Just like the other (Parr) vehicles, these are also on pump gas. He is anxiously awaiting his permiere pass at the "Z-MAX" dragway in North Carolina!

Garrett >("G"-man)
Truly the YOUNGEST member of this team! At 9 years old, he is insistent to learn about cars and how to make them perform! He has been seen changing brakes, installing heads, pulling some good torque, and has great "common sense"!! If he keeps this amount of interest, in the future years he will be a great "gearhead"! He already kicks butt at "Pole Position" raceway where he consistently places 1st or 2nd in better than 90% of his "karting" races! The boy is a true racer at heart (and in the seat)!!

Chris >("Joz") and Jacque Joslyn
Chris is from Michigan, Jacque from Arizona, and are both new to the high energy of motorsport racing. Though these two friends (and past neighbors) are not drivers and are new to the racing venue / team, their belief in #3309 and Ed, run high. They are excited to have a new experience of learning, playing and "wearing earplugs" in this racing atmosphere. Thank you to FEVAR RACING for letting us be a contributing part of this experience!
No, THANK YOU!!!!!!!! From all us at FEVAR RACING!!

Joe >("Kooter") and Stacy Pagano-
Honorary team members. We all enjoyed having them in Bakersfield with us and treasure their friendship, and
comraderie. Joe (and Stacy) is always there to lend a hand in whatever way that is possible whenever they can. It's ALWAYS a good time
when these two are at the track with us!
THANK YOU Pagano's for simply being part of the team!!!

Steven Ruff-("Ruff daddy")
Our (2nd) team "apprentice"! Steven is new to the assembly stages of engines, and the "terminology" that racers
commonly use. With his interest in the world of performance vehicles, he will soon prove to be skilled in all
aspects of racing and engine building. Steven has the drive and desire to learn and (if the info is not easily
obtained) will get a book on whatever he is inquisitive about. He has determination and motivation, which is
what is necessary to excel in this sport. Steven is also a Journeyman Ironworker in local 433 L.A. and has 2 kids.
